Welcome To The Adventure

COVID-19 Update
Dear Friends and Family
As the local and global community come together to address the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, God Adventure Church is seeking to promote health across the community. In moments like these, we do not partner with fear, but choose to lean into faith and hope, as well as practicing wisdom and safety.

During this time we want to encourage and challenge you to stay connected in the following ways:

1. REACH OUT

Although we cannot be together in person, we can, as the body of Christ, love and reach out to family and friends; send encouraging messages or even better, call  to find out how they are doing and then pray together. If you are in need or if you would like to serve in a practical way you can contact our Community Outreach Pastors, Scott and Yolanda Worley at yolanda@godadventure.org who would love to plug you in to what we are doing to love our city at this time.

2. GATHER

Not being able to meet in our church building will not stop us from “meeting together”. There are many creative ways to connect virtually. As a leadership team we’ve been using platforms like Zoom to meet together for times of encouragement and prayer and our connect groups, ministry teams and youth are using WhatsApp and other means for connecting. We are the church and not being able to meet in our building or smaller gatherings does not change that.

3. PARTICIPATE

Each Sunday we will livestream our family service at 9am on the God Adventure Facebook page. It would be so encouraging for you to give us a “like” or comment on a post so we can participate together or let us know you are with us. We also encourage you to have watch parties and engage together. Use this time also to invite others to join with our church family. Right now the world is crying out for hope and a place to belong.

4. PRAY

God is GOOD! He is SOVEREIGN! He is not surprised by the Coronavirus nor is He dismayed by it. The power of life and death is in the power of the tongue so let’s declare His goodness and faithfulness. Use this time to pray for your family, our God Adventure Church family, our nation and those who shoulder the weighty responsibility of leading us through this time.

5. REMAIN GENEROUS

God is more than able to take care of all our needs. We are called to be good stewards and have wisdom with our finances while continuing to remain generous by giving God our first fruits and blessing the people around us, especially those in need. While the world is worrying about finances, let us hold fast to the promise of God that as we tithe He will open the floodgates of Heaven and pour out a blessing we cannot contain. For many this is a challenging heart issue but we want to encourage you to put your faith in God and see how He surprises you with His goodness. You can still give your tithes and offerings through our bank details as provided.

Our building is temporarily closed for all gatherings.

Sunday morning meetings are cancelled, but join us from your living room Sunday mornings at 9am on YouTube

God Adventure

God Adventure is a community of believers who place highest priority on hosting and experiencing His tangible and manifest presence. This is the adventure in Him which we experience together as a family, and it’s this which enables us to be a God-encounter for others in our city, in our community, our country, and in the nations.

We love God and we love people, and we believe that we are called to demonstrate His Kingdom on earth through signs, wonders and miracles. We are an apostolic resource centre, called to equip others with the radical transformational gospel of Jesus.

If your heart hungers for an intimate and authentic encounter with an all-loving, extravagantly gracious God; you have a desire to live in community and you long to see Heaven on earth – welcome to the God adventure!

Our Mission

To equip an apostolic generation who value and pursue the manifest presence of God and advance the Kingdom by loving people, declaring the goodness of God and demonstrating the Kingdom message of ‘Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.’

Our Mission

Love, Valuing His Presence, Authentic Gospel, Grace, Freedom, Family and Honour.
