Sunday mornings are a time for our local church to gather together and celebrate all that God has done and is doing in our midst. Come and join us on Sundays at 9am.

Worship
At God Adventure we place highest value on cultivating a culture where His Presence can manifest. This culture prioritises worship as fundamental. We believe that a worship culture that attracts Heaven has got to be authentic and Spirit directed. We believe that worship is not a spectator-sport but a corporate experience where our united expression can shape and shift atmospheres. We are ever in pursuit of capturing the sounds of Heaven and releasing them upon the earth! We treasure our diversity within our South African context, and we honour the way in which our differences are manifest in worship. We jealously protect this freedom of expression and are diligent in writing our own songs and celebrating our own authentic God Adventure sound.
Serving on Sunday

At God Adventure we believe in functional family. This means that everyone has a role to play in the life of our church. The running of our Sunday services are a collaborative effort. Volunteers do the following duties: welcoming at the door, media, taking up tithes and offerings, administrating communion, taking care of the venue and various needs of people during the service.

Sound Team

The sound team is a key ministry at God Adventure, since it supports the worship team to release the sound of Heaven. Members of this team are volunteers who are passionate about sound. All volunteers will receive training when they join the team.

Baby Dedication
We believe that children are a gift from God and we dedicate them into God’s care. During baby dedications parents also make a public commitment to raise Kingdom children.
Water Baptism
Water Baptism is a public declaration of your new birth and faith in Jesus Christ. As a church we believe that every believer should be water baptised, following in the pattern of Jesus.

Request for Serving

It takes a lot of willing volunteers to make ministry happen and here are a few specific teams currently looking for extra support. Most areas of service require little or no experience or skill, although our music teams require auditions to fill open positions. See all the areas you can serve and fill out the form. Someone will then contact you to get involved!

START SERVING

Child Care

We have a Baby Room for feeding and changing, and a Toddler Room where kids can play while you watch the service on TV. Children 3 years and older can join our Supernatural Kids.

Parking

Our church is located in Quigney, East London, and has many parking spots available on the surrounding streets. We have a car guard on duty ensuring your vehicle is safe.

Connect

Stay after the service and join us at Backstage where you can meet new people and socialise with friends and family over a cup of coffee or tea and lovely treats on sale.
